Are Delivery Costs Included?
Unfortunately not on the majority of products, with so much variation in our product sizes, weights and delivery locations it’s impossible to offer free shipping on most items. We do have free shipping on selected products where weight and shipping costs are low enough to absorb these. Our competitors simply add it in somewhere else. We are upfront and will quote you delivery to your desired location within South Africa.
If purchasing Online your delivery charges can be automatically calculated and added by choosing your desired delivery method.
We also carry out local deliveries within Cape Town & Surrounds daily.

The good news is that we deliver Nationwide to your door!
For Online Orders, if you’re paying by credit or debit card and your order reaches us before 12h00, your purchase will be packaged and dispatched on the same day (unless it’s a weekend or a public holiday) providing the product is in stock.
For EFTs and bank transfers the funds need to reflect in our account before we dispatch. This will be done as fast as possible but can delay the dispatch of your order depending on your deposit method. Cheques can take up to 14 days to clear. Sending through Proof of Payment does NOT confirm that payment has been received
We except orders with a South African delivery address only.
For Online orders, payment can be made via Visa and MasterCard credit cards, most major Debit Cards, Instant EFT or normal EFT, select your preference on the checkout page.
Payment can be made In Store via Cash, or card payment only.
Cash deposits can be made directly into our account and are subject to an additional 2% handling fee. (This unfortunately is what the Bank charges)
Payment via EFT directly into our account, details will be forwarded with your invoice.
Are my credit card details safe?
Yes. All credit card transactions take place on a secure page through PayFast and no credit card details are stored.
Who installs the safe?
Most of the safes come pre-drilled for your convenience. They often come with fixings provided. We do not carry out installations outside of Cape Town. We have put together a comprehensive installation guide for your convenience. We are always at hand to assist over the phone or via mail.
What about product Warranties?
All products supplied by the Safe Shop carry the manufacturers product warranty against failure and defects. The manufacturer reserves the right to asses, repair or replace the product at their discretion. A reasonable amount of time must be allowed in the event of such a warranty claim.
Measurements & dimensions?
Measurements and dimensions stated on this website generally cater for the body of the safe. When measuring the space where your safe is to be placed, please allow for handles, hinges and digital faceplates.
